Main Article Content
Abstract
This qualitative research explores the effectiveness of Google Classroom as a learning medium at MA Tunas Scholar, with a focus on class XI students. Utilizing interviews and observations, this research reveals that Google Classroom enhances the learning experience by allowing students to access materials and submit assignments easily, even without a teacher present. However, it also identifies challenges, such as the difficulty teachers face in monitoring student understanding, as these platforms primarily function as repositories for educational resources such as files, videos, and presentations. This research highlights the important role of media in influencing student engagement and learning outcomes. It emphasizes four main indicators for assessing the effectiveness of educational media: teaching quality, teaching suitability, incentives for learning, and time management. The findings show that technology, especially Google Classroom, significantly contributes to making learning more interactive and accessible, thereby increasing students' motivation and focus during lessons. In conclusion, this research underscores the need for educators to embrace technological advances in education, ensuring effective utilization of tools such as Google Classroom to create more engaging and productive learning environments.
