Abstract
The development and advancement of knowledge, digitalization, and technology have significantly impacted human life, including that of the Muslim community. However, the negative effects of globalization and environmental crises pose challenges that this community must face. In this context, Islamic education plays a crucial role in building a resilient and adaptive generation of Muslims. Through quality educational management, Islamic education must be capable of managing knowledge and technology effectively. This research aims to analyze the factors contributing to the low quality of human resources among Muslims and the strategies that can be applied to face advancements in science and technology. The focus of this study is on the management of Islamic educational institutions in the context of the digital 4.0 era. The research method employed is a library research approach, which allows the researcher to gather data and information from various relevant sources. The research findings reveal several important insights: first, there is a need for the reconstruction of the paradigm of Islamic education based on a contextual-critical approach to address contemporary challenges. Second, there should be a reorientation of the goals and curriculum of Islamic education to better align with the needs of modern society. Third, it is essential to expand and develop management and human resources in accordance with Islamic principles. Fourth, the importance of democratizing Islamic education and creating innovative alternative educational institutions is highlighted.
