Abstract

This study aims to investigate the model of Religious Moderation Education at Miftahussa’adah Azzakaria Islamic Boarding School in Sindangbarang, West Java. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection technique applied is data source triangulation, which combines multiple data sources to provide a holistic view of the situation under study. The research findings conclude that Miftahussa’adah Azzakaria Islamic Boarding School has integrated Religious Moderation Education into its curriculum. Although all the books taught contain the teachings of the Prophet and adhere to the ideology of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah, the implementation of this Moderation Education is still limited to the hidden curriculum. This is based on four main indicators of Religious Moderation, namely: 1) national commitment; 2) tolerance; 3) rejection of violence; 4) adaptation to local culture.
